Can you believe we are coming up on the end of the year. 2019 has flown by and had so much more in store for Lot28 than I could have ever imagined. Fully committing to Lot28, devoting time to building this community and message has been a dream of mine years in the making.
All that said the last couple months of the year usually become a shit show [ sorry no sugar coating there ]. From the holidays, traveling, and the returned delight of the seasons changing I usually fall out of my grind with the mentality that we will get everything back on track in January.
However, my shining beam of positivity, my ride or die, Casssondra recommended an incredible podcast last week that reframed my thinking. The Rise podcast with Rachel Hollis episode 116, hit me like I didn’t even know it was coming.
The episode centered around 5 daily mantras that we can commit to for the last 90 days of the year. Flipping the switch on the idea of January as a fresh start why not greet the new year feeling great and already on track?
Cassondra and I have always sent tidbits of inspiring content and recommendations to each other over the years. Yet, I will admit I was skeptical when she asked if I would commit to the 5 to Thrive Last 90 Days. With the chaos of the holidays and finishing up for the year I quickly remarked that my plate was full. But listening to the episode I decided I would be crazy not to try.
I’m only a couple days in but I’m loving it! So I challenge any of you who are even slightly interested to take the next step and listen to the podcast! Lot28 is all about the small things we can do to be more mindful in our interaction with the environment. In order to do that, we have to come from a place of wellbeing and this podcast is definitely a step in the right direction!
As for Lot28 we are hard at work, grinding away with our plans for NYCJW. We will be participating in a couple different events throughout the week and will have more details to share soon!
